The following changes to the BioLink database should be made when
upgrading SBEAMS

from version 0.21

to 0.22 or later or to the latest code in the SVN repository

Added column 'hierarchy_level' varchar(50) to
table gene_annotation after 'idx'

Another table `annotation_hierarchy_level` was added.  You can just
create that table with the DDL in
$SBEAMS/lib/sql/BioLink/BioLink_GOAnnotation_CREATETABLES.sql

Also updated the indexes.  Drop all indexes with DDL in
$SBEAMS/lib/sql/BioLink/BioLink_GOAnnotation_DROPINDEXES.sql
and re-create with:
$SBEAMS/lib/sql/BioLink/BioLink_GOAnnotation_CREATEINDEXES.sql

Note that this causes 20 times more data to be loaded into the gene_annotation
tables, making indexing more critical, and breaking most existing queries
that use the gene_annotation tables.  All existing queries should be
updated to include the constraint "AND hierarchy_level = 'leaf'" to
preserve current functionality.
